“Lord may they have more of an impact for Your Kingdom together than they ever had apart”, were the words prayed over us on our wedding day. Before we met on the streets of Bucharest, Romania while ministering to street kids, the Lord had led us each on incredible journeys of ministry that ranged from the jungles of Thailand to the youth group of a small country church.
Since our marriage vows, God has continued to shape us through a series of adventures. He led us into numerous countries with the goal of sharing the love of Christ to the orphaned, the widowed, the sick, and the poverty stricken. Jonathan has served as a youth pastor for more than fifteen years, and Kori has served to develop elementary school students in a classical Christian environment. We have been blessed with four incredible children, two through the miracle of adoption from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Our experiences in international initiatives paired with our desire to empower those feeling the least capable but most impactful, led us to connect with VisionTrust. We are excited to now be a part of a ministry family that reaches the children of the world in a way that cultivates local ministers in their own countries to lead a movement that creates real change for their people. We will be working to connect churches in the United States with these local heroes who identify needs based on a long-range plan for ministry in their country. In essence, empowering and strengthening the church abroad by partnering them with invested churches here in the states.
We invite you to join us on this adventure. Our earnest desire is to partner with individuals who support both our calling and the ministry model of VisionTrust International. We know just what a vital role you play in the success of the ministry that God has called us to. Please pray for our ministry, the global heroes that are serving in the 16 countries where VisionTrust is currently invested, the US churches that will connect with ministries internationally, and our role in the process as relationship developers between the two.
