A brand new borehole is almost ready to bring clean water to the children we serve in Tanzania! Below are three photos to help you better understand everything that has come together in order to make this dream a reality.
Meet Absalom, the head of the Morogoro municipal water office in Tanzania, showing off our new borehole cover below. He is a man of God and has worked with us to bring clean water to the children we serve. In fact, Absalom has gone above and beyond to make sure Morogoro Primary School is be blessed with clean water—letting us use his own pump from the government office, until we were able to purchase our own.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to look down into a borehole? Wonder no more!
Staff at the school is using well water to clean mud off the floors and rinse the lines in hopes of reducing salt content. The area where we work in Tanzania is considered a coastal region so it’s not uncommon to find salt in well water. Please join us in praying that we will not need to purchase reverse osmosis equipment, that God will clear our lines, and we will have drinkable, safe, healthy water soon!
