Last weekend, high school students at the Excel Youth for Christ Conference in Upstate New York learned how they could “lose a latte and save a life,” creating change in the lives of children in need around the world. Ashley Hentrich, our Relationship Development guru, and her husband Jon taught students about how poverty is devastating the lives of billions of children around the world and how their involvement in Latte Losers can make a tangible and lasting difference.
A youth leader who mentors a group of high school students from the Schenectady City Life program told us, “The four Schenectady City Life students who came to your Excel seminar learned a lot about poverty from you, and were trying to figure out how to help even though they don’t drink lattes. Pretty radical.”
We’re so excited to see teens in Upstate New York and beyond get inspired to use their resources, time and lives to radically transform the lives of children in developing countries all over the world!
If you or someone you know can spare $5 a month to feed a child for the entire month, check out Latte Losers.
