Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you so much for your continued prayers for the political situation in the Central African Republic!
I was able to speak again today with Edmond (pictured below on the right), VisionTrust’s Country Director who works in Bangui with our orphans. He says the ministry to the kids has still not really been hindered, so that’s a huge praise! Continue to pray for smooth operation of the care for these children, both in Bangui, and in Berberati.
On the political front, the various parties are all assembled now in Libreville, Gabon, for peace talks. According to reports, representatives of the Seleka rebel movement, the current government, and the opposition parties in the Legislature are all ready to begin talks as soon as Friday, January 11. Although the demands seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum, God can bring about change in the hearts of those at the conference, so please pray.
