“I’m not preaching VisionTrust, I’m preaching that Jesus Christ is Lord!”
This is what I took away during the devotion time from our monthly all-staff meeting a few weeks ago. One of my colleagues said it well and this is the work I get to do with VisionTrust. What a privilege!
We want to develop orphaned and neglected children into mature Christians, and we want to engage anyone that wants to be a part. I desire that many churches and communities get involved in this Kingdom work and I am very humbled to be part of what the Lord is doing. I get to talk about Jesus, what He’s done for us and how He is caring for these kids using local leaders to make it happen. What a joy!
This month I’ve begun the process of learning even more about VisionTrust. Learning the in’s and out’s of our organization, along with our processes, and more about what my day to day work looks like. I’ve started training for my role and am excited to see what the Lord will continue do.
What a joy it is to serve in this kingdom work in this way!
“For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” – 2 Corinthians 4:5 (ESV)
P.S., The below photos are from a recent trip of a partner church who spent time in Guatemala this month loving on the community of Cruz Blanca. They were able to visit with our local leaders and install first hand some water filters that no doubt will change the lives of those families. They were able to build relationships with the kids and heroes of the community. I’m so thankful for them and for what the Lord is doing!
