The smoke is beginning to clear in the city of Colorado Springs and we’re learning how our staff members have been impacted by the Waldo Canyon Wildfire. We praise God that all of our staff members and their families are safe. However, we do have a number of staff members who are still displaced and are anxiously awaiting confirmation on their homes.
Many of you have been asking if there is any way to help. Our Colorado staff is encouraged by your willingness to reach out to us, just as you reach out to the thousands of children around the world who depend upon your generosity every day. In response to your desire to help, we have set up a fund to assist our staff members who have been impacted by the fire. You can give by clicking here.
Thank you for the encouragement and countless prayers you have provided on our behalf over the last few days. While some containment has been established in the city, the fire is far from over. We ask that you continue to pray for our staff, the residents of Colorado Springs and the firefighters fighting the fire.
We will make sure to keep you updated here, on our blog, about the fire and our staff.
Together, we are part of VisionTrust.
